Today I want to format my pc, and so I choose some programs to defens my pc, to optimize ecc..

To Optimize I choose Desktop Maestro and others.

There is any risk to bleach free hard disk space with Desktop Maestro?

And There is any risk with the others function of Desktop Maestro?(For Example compact and Optimize System registry).

I Will try these programs before format my pc,but i want to know if there is any risk..I think I Will format this evening (for me now is 10.11 of morning)

I just would like to recommend you to allow the function "Creatre a system restore point before repair" and always use the points created by Desktop Maestro when you need to do a System Restore

I have another question about Threat Fire : there is any problem with the latest version of Comodo Firewall?
I install Comodo Firewall with Defense+ and ThreatFire free, but i prefer Threat Fire free, not Defense+.

Does ThreatFire do his Work optimally with ComodoFirewall with Defense+?

I have tried PCtools Firewall Plus, very good, but in the last Mautosec test it was Bad http://www.matousec.com/projects/firewall-challenge/results.php

So, I try Comodo.I Know that it is very ''invasive'', but it is really efficacy.

I install Antivir Premium (VNU promotion) + Comodo Firewall with Defense+ + Threat Fire + Spyware Blaster.

What Protection level of ThreatFire i must use? 3 or 4? or 5? (but 5 display too number of alerts)

According to AChen, the new version (which is not out, but is coming) of the PCT FW will pass the Matousec tests, so let's hope it does. :)

I'm tempted to test it, but I'll only do that once it proves itself more effective on the same test that you mentioned. It's just that all the things you see in its section are problems and workarounds to get it working good. Do you play any online games and did you've any problems with that? Cause I got way too many problems to fix with ports when I played games on Steam (like Counter-Strike back in the days :rolleyes: ), and I'm not sure I wanna use a FW that is too much just a hassle without proving itself effective, since that's what I experienced the time that I used it long ago while it seems to be the same story even now. Just take the example that almost if not all the new features of the FW were disabled by default in the PCTIS Beta when I tested it (!). NOTE: This thing in particular is supposed to be fixed in the final, new version so don't worry. ;)
