Annoying clicking thing!

Ok this may seem daft but.....

I've been using windows explorer 7.0 for a while now and it has this annoying clicking thing when you click on a link or open a new page etc! How on earth do I get it to Shut up!!!!

Please someone help it's really irritating me!

First, it's Internet Explorer 7. Windows Explorer 7 is part of the next version of Windows.

Second, go to Control Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices. Click the Sounds tab. In the Program events list scroll down to the Windows Explorer section and go to the Start Navigation item. Click on it then in the Sounds section scroll up to and click on None. Click Apply and OK to exit.

Thanx for your reply, I did mean to put internet in between windows and explorer but was thinking faster than I typed!

Annoying clicking noise is now off!
