Spyware doctor disappers

I'm having a problem..I just downloaded spyware doctor 5.5 and the problem is when i tried opening the application it appears and disappers like a flash.
I uninstalled this and reinstalled another on....it still gives the same error. can anybody help??? any info will appreciated!!! thanks pals

Hi coolio,

When you install SD, does GUI appear after installation?
Do you have the SD icon in the system tray? (near the clock) If you see the icon can you double click on this and see if it displays?
Can you double click on the desktop icon?

The GUI does ni=t show and each time i click on it on the icon tray. it show and goes off in a flash

Very strange behavior :confused:

When SD is running, could go into the task manager and check if pctsgui.exe, pctstray.exe and pctssvc.exe are running? This could be related to a 3rd party app not allowing SD to run.
