View Full Version : 5.5.0.212 stopped working, 5.5.1.322 works

Windows 2000AS. .212 stopped working this morning. 100% CPU, unable to shutdown SpyWare Doctor, unable shutdown system. Had to go to Safe Mode to uninstall. Also had been unable to do Microsoft Updates for awhile even with OnGuard off.

After removing SPD .212 I installed all Updates, rebooted, installed .322 and it all seems to work now.

Spoke too soon. Today (5/26) I saw 100% CPU by pctsSvc for 5:37 of CPU time before it settled down. But, I did settle down whereas .212 would run 100% CPU for hours.
