Hi, I keep having this file appear in my temp folder and despite all the scans - which seem to ignore it - does anybody know how to remove it. my search on the internet says its a virus but SD never seems to find it. Any expert advice on how to resolve the problem would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi,
What version of SD are you running? do you have the AV plugin?
SD standalone can only remove some viruses and is not designed to remove viruses as it is an anti-malware/spyware remover. Are you running the free version of SD? because this doesn't include the antivirus software.

Correct. Even if you send a log to PC Tools, I don't think SD will remove this infection and I think the free version has a limited database compared to the paid version. In addition to SD, you will also need an Antivirus program. Try the free PC Tools AntiVirus and see if it helps. http://www.pctools.com/free-antivirus/ If you already have an antivirus program, don't install this one unless you remove the other one. Its a good idea to only have 1 antivirus running to avoid any conflicts.
