How to stop the activation of spyware doctor and change back to starter edition?

I tried to uninstall spyware doctor but it still have the subscription Active. I want to change a subscription because it couldn't update. It always says update failure when I press the smart update and have a screen tell me that error code 25. What is error code 25? I rather use the starter edition if the spyware doctor could not update. Does anyone know how to stop the subscription?

Try to run the smart update on windows safe mode with networking, is there any other security software that might block up your connection to perform smart update?

another way to send achen a private message is to click on his name, in his post.. then, in the menu that drops down, select "private message"..

there is no need to switch back to the starter edition if you have an active subscription.. however, yes, it is possible to switch to the starter edition..
