Favicons

Hello. I realize that this is not the most important question that's ever been asked, but it's bothering me nonetheless, so please bear with me...

In IE7, is there a way to disable the favicons? I use Firefox at home and am able to disable them quite easily, but I'm stuck with IE7 at work and would like to get rid of them. I know a lot of people who like the favicons, but I personally can't stand them; I think they're ugly and that they make my "favorites" look sloppy and unorganized.

Is there any way to do this? Thanks in advance.

Those icons are stored on Web sites and with IE6 and earlier resided in the Temporary Internet Files Folder when visiting a site that provides the icon/s.
