Hi Vecchio,
The reason for this feature is to make it easier for the users to locate the tools as it is in the one place. Like a shortcut :)

Thanks Anthony
But i still think would be great see dm with your own defrag tool
Is it possible?:) so, in this way the future dm defrag tool should be enable by the user when he click DESFRAGMENTATION
Thanks

Theres really no point creating another defragging tool, since Windows already offers one.

If you dont like the built in tool, there are great third party automatic defragmenters out there. Google for trial versions and check them out. Some defrag with hardly any free space and in the background too. Save time and effort.

Auslogics is good (and free). Check it out.

I truly think using a third party defragger is the better way to go. I use a real time defragger that defrags my computer when it is idle. The keyword there is IDLE.
The name of the product is called Diskeeper and it works wonders for me.

Yeah, the vista defragger has no GUI, and is pretty slow to defrag too.
I also use Diskeeper 2008 pro on Vista as well as XP, and it's an excellent program with a clean GUI and easy to use features. Running in the idle defrag mode, it keeps all the drives defragmented without any work on my part.

Thanks for the info - I think I'll give this a try on my Vista laptop.
