Whenever I'm trying to reach different forums, som of them not all, this message occurs:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
How can I fix this?

Check some of the pages found by Google, may be nothing you can do about it:

Well...
I've been searching many days now for keyword such as:
403 Forbidden (and the whole other text)
Vista + 403 forbidden
"forum name" + 403 forbidden
etc. etc. I can't remember them all but you get my point...
So the only thing I'm looking for now is plain answers :P
Since nobody seems to know how to solve this problem, I guess that the only thing you could do is to format your harddrive....
Although I found one thread. but I can't really understand the solution.
Maybe you can explain it?
(http://www.techsupportforum.com/microsoft-support/internet-explorer-forum/215567-solved-403-forbidden.html). It's the thrid row that I can't figure out how to do and where to go etc. etc.
Thanks

By putting the parenthesis marks on the URL/HyperLink it got screwed up, shows this as a result:

Control panel-->Internet options-->Connections-->LAN settings-->uncheck all the options...
Do you use shortcuts (favorites) to go to that forums?

I've just found out that if you go to a bypass site, I can access the forums.
Does this help and what conclusion about whats causing the problem does this make??
How can I bypass, like... forever, because the bypass makes some wrongs at the pages, some pictures doesent appear etc. etc.
Can I bypass it from windows or something?

I got another error messege now, and when I dignose the problem it says:
"If you have access to your firewall, you should configure so connections to the TCP-port 80 is allowed."
What does this mean, and how do I cofigure the TCP-port?

ok, I solved it, I know what I did, but I don't know what it made so...
But if you have got the same problem, unhide all folders and files, and the go to C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts (open it with notepad or a similar program).
In here if there are several sites with the same IP, delete them so the only thing you got left in here is: "XXX.X.X.X localhost" (the X:es should of course be numbers).
Worked for me!
Thanks for all the help!!
