I was just wondering how far away are the Email & Site Guards for Spyware Doctor version 5.5.0.204?

The developers are re-working SG and EG which should improve email and browser interaction. Once these are available, I'll post and update.

When I installed 5.5.0.204 SG and EG came with it. I thought they were supposed to be plug ins. I have been having trouble in that my web browser (IE7) locks up at random forcing a reboot. Any advice?

In the previous build the SG and EG was included with the installation if you had SD+AV. Im assuming you do :) but the standalone need the plugins.
