Disappearing scan

A 10 hour physical scan and I see my file that did not show up in quick or deep scan despite being deleted only the night before. Unfortunatly, I remembered I needed to change the file recovery location so click on settings and all the work of 10 hours disappears. Very clever and by the tone of the responses on the forum I do not expect to se a solution here except waste another day of my life. Luckily the software was free on a cover disc so I hve not lost any money on this terrible program.

I remember using this product a while back, but haven't had the need for it in ages. When you scan, you have to click on restore, if you click on anything else, you'll lose the results.

not only that, but when one tells the program to recover some files, then pays money so that the program will convert these to actual files (all the files 'recovered' were .frd files which aren't usable), finds out that getting these files was a complete waste as the program doesn't deal with these files, requiring a new scan.
