Usually everyone just posts about problems, so I thought I'd post a success story. I've had 5.0 or 5.1 or whatever it was installed since about 10 months ago. I was afraid to upgrade to the latest version because of all the problems reported. Since 5.5 appeared to be more stable I thought I'd give it a shot.
Well it installed no problem. No slowdown, no problems. I did a scan and it only took about 2 minutes. Much faster, fixed a few problems. The only issue I did see is I cleared the history from cookie guard, then tried to delete an exclusion and it hung the system. I rebooted and it did not occur again.
I'm running XP Media Center SP2. 1GB and NOD32 virus scanner.
