View Full Version : Problem for email sending / receiving
Hi everyone, I have run my Spyware Doctor with AV + Avira AntiVir for a long time and both of them worked great.
Recently, I have problem to receive email, the symbol is.....I could no problem send out the email and no any fault delivery massage was returned. But the receiver got my email with an no subject and no content of email. I try to send an email to myself and have the same email with no subject and no content.
In order to solve this problem, I try to change my setting of Spyware Doctor with AV and have a significant finding when I Disable "OnGuard", everything resume to normal condition that means I can receive a completed email as I sent.
Would you please provide your experience and solution with me because I run spydoctor for many years and I have never encounter this problem before. Your speed up reply will be much appreciated.
Note:
My Spyware Doctor with AV revision is as following..
Product Version: 5.5.0.178
Database Version: 5.09190
AntiVirus Engine: 4.4.2
Thanks & regards
Otto

Hi Otto,
Could you disable Email Guard and see if this resolves the problem?
So this didn't occur before when running SD+AV? Did you make any changes to your PC/settings in this time?
Dear Chen,
Thanks for your prompt reply. I had tried to turn off the email guard at previous fault isolation unfortunately the problem still exist.
