Unable to update error in Starter Edition

Well I understand it cant upgrade to 5.5 because that wouldn't be cost effective but why get the warning...It really annoys me.
Is there any way round it?:mad:

What error are you getting? you should be able to update the starter edition. We'll need more info to assist you further. Version 5.5 should be available soon for the start edition.

I think its error -25 something like that does that make sense?

I know what the problem is...
I have installed it to take place of my old Spyware Doctor because the suscription ran out but not all the elements or the install will have been removed...
It will be some registry entry somewhere telling my ne SD that its expired.

The error says:
Unable to update Unknown error occured -25

I can't take a screen shot yet as I haven't got Photoshop installed.

Do you have a PC Tools Software Removal tool?

Can you click on Help-> About in Spyware Doctor and send a Private Message with the license code along with your email address and I will be able to assist you further.
