4.1.0.1, updated regularly.
Couiple of days ago, it decided it wanted to re-boot after update.
Hadn't seen that before that I could remember, so I said no, later, all that, "X"ed it out, and it re-booted anyway.
For the record, if I tell it "NO", that means NO!

After yesterday and todays update especially, it blocks almost every site, even though they are still in the "Domain Whitelist", and have been all along.

The only way to function is to turn SD completely off.

If I am going to use a program, depend on it, and PAY for it, I expect it to function both as advertised and as it has in the past.

How can I depend on SD to protect the integrity of my machine if I have to turn it off to use said machine?

Is there any other data you need?

XP Pro, SP2, all that rot.

Hi Curmudgeon,

I just installed SDv4.1 and ran an update. The initial update required a reboot and I tested the "no" option and it is working as it should. The reboot is required because of the onguard tools and the additional files in the initial update. However, after another update, no reboot is required.

Could you reinstall SDv4.1 and see if the problem continues?

Only re-booted once. When I clicked "no", I then had to "X" it out to see my screen.
THAT'S when it re-booted.
Did you "X" it out after selecting "no"?
My BIG problem is that it has locked me out of regular forums and websites that have long been and still are entered in the "domain whitelist".

Tested it again, this time, I just clicked on the X and the window closed and selected 'no' by default.

For the next problem - do you remember what files SU downloaded? Did you initially have Site Guard installed? Could you try disabling Site Guard to see if this resolves the problem?

Site guard is on.
Always has been.

Interestingly, one a window has been selected by SD to have malicious content in any of the websites used in that window (like, SD Forum is on the sixth window this morning), short of killing SD, if I open a new window, often the sites will work without being axed by SD, sometimes all day, sometimes for a short period of time until SD finds out what I did.

I will try just disabling Site Guard next time it happens.

Whatever update it was two days ago.
I don't think I have records of what those were.
