In regards to the blue screen problem, please read the following.

Blue screens can be caused by faulty memory, a corrupt Registry, or incompatible DLL files.

We would like to confirm some details of when the blue screen appears.

1. Please answer each the following:

- When does the blue screen appear?

- Does it always appear at that time or a once off occurrence?

- What were you doing on the computer at the time? Does it occur at the same time (each time) when you are using your computer?

- What other security applications are installed on your system? What are the versions of each one?

Any further detail would allow us to troubleshoot the problem further.

2. Can you please try enabling the 'Kernel Compatibility Mode' in Spyware Doctor > Settings, this allows Spyware Doctor's Kernel Driver to adapt with other applications monitoring in kernel level to prevent conflicts.

Can you confirm if this resolves the problem. If it does resolve the problem, the blue screen may have been caused by a conflict between Spyware Doctor's kernel protection and kernel protection of another security program. If it does occur again please let us know.

Spyware Doctor now has the ability to automatically reconfigure it's kernel protection to eliminate blue screens after a blue screen has occurred once.

3. If the blue screen still appears after enabling the kernel compatibility mode then could you provide us with the kernel dump files which should allow us to analyze the problem further.

1. Navigate to Control Panel > System > Advanced Tab
2. Under Startup and Recovery, click on Settings
3. Ensure all boxes are checked under System failure
4. Under Write debugging information, select Kernel memory dump from the dropdown box
5. The next time the blue screen appears, navigate to C:\Windows and attach the file MEMORY.DMP to your reply.

To resolve this, could you please:

1. Navigate to c:\Windows\system32\drivers
2. Locate and remove the following:

ikfilesec.sys
iksysflt.sys
iksyssec.sys

Let us know if the problem is still there.

Great :)

It appears that the drivers were not upgraded successfully. This could have been caused by a third party application interferring with the upgrade process.
