Hi,

I'm hoping I can find someone who can help me. About a month ago I upgraded my Internet Explorer to 7.0. And since then I have not been able to see anything that involves Flash. For example I was going to Disney.com the other day, and the message I received on their website is, "You do not have the most current version of Flash. The page you were attempting to view requires that you upgrade the software listed."

I have downloaded the new version (and the video from Adobe even says I have the latest version). The video says, "If you can see this video the Flash player is installed." But when I go back to the website it still doesn't work. I have restarted IE, my computer, and nothing. I did have to install Firefox, and I am able to view the Flash on Firefox. But I can't get it to work on IE.

It's gotten to be a pain in the butt because IE is what I use, and if a website has Flash I have to open Firefox and go to the website.

I have checked my Internet Options, and I do have the Flash enabled.

So any help anyone has would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Thank you in advance!

Kris :-)

That is exactly how my IE6 behaves when I have scripting turned off, which is 95% of the time. Kills most of the annoying flash ads and the popups that get around the popup blocker.

Probably your security settings. Check the level set at Tools > Internet Options > Security tab. See if lowering the security level enables Flash display. You may need to close all IE instances and reopen them to test the new level.
