Yeah I've got a '99 eMachines eMonster '500a' that has a bootup problem, but first here's the specs:

CPU: Intel Pentium III (500Mhz, slot type, not socket)
RAM: 384 MB (1x256, 1x128; new)
Video: ATi Rage 128 Fury (or something), 16MB VRAM (lol, pitiful), AGP 2x (also pitiful)
Sound: Onboard sound.
HDD: Maxtor 30Gb (new, replaced old, which crashed)

It'll boot to Safe Mode fine, but if you try to boot normally it'll hang on the splash screen.
I've made a boot floppy, and I still have the original restore disc.
I'm also probably gonna put an nVidia GeForce MX 4000 (I think, PCI, 128MB VRAM), unless someone can prove that that's worse than a 16MB AGPx2 slot :P
I only really want to get it back up and running for the novelty of it, plus then me and a friend could play Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 over the LAN lol
