I'm pretty new to SD.
Why are the updates so far away one from another?

Hi
Do you mean database updates? If so, they are usually every weekday (i.e. Monday - Friday). Program updates are less frequent as the developers have to test newer versions before releasing them.
Hope that helps

Hi
Although I do agree that the more updates the better, it is difficult to staff companies over weekends, especially if it is a sall company. There are many other security vendors that do not provide updates on weekends, including McAfee, Sunbelt, etc.
Hope that helps

Learn from Kaspersky :)
And the registry scan is not as thorough as counterspy 2.5 , case proven 5 times on my comp , another point to improve.
V4 still rules performance wise :)
Great improvements over V5 to V5.5

Hi
I agree, Kaspersky is definately something to aspire to! I also agree onthe registry front and the performance front, but the performance is partly dueto the changes in the new Spyware Doctor to the services model (which is better for detection and, more importantly, removal) :).
Hope that helps
