Browser Guard question

It is my understanding that the browser guard only protects IE. I use Firefox exclusively, so this guard doesn't seem to be doing me any good. Should I disable it?

You should keep it enabled as it may prevent malware making use of IE if you get infected. I believe SiteGuard is compatible with all browsers, so that may help prevent infection.
