Stop Spyware doctor from running after install

Is there a way of stopping spyware doctor from running automaticaly after it has installed.

I assume you are talking about version 5.5? Unfortunately due to the fact that Spyware Doctor uses Windows Services to run, it is not possible to stop it from running directly after installation.

To shutdown Spyware Doctor 5.x please do the following:

Right-click the Spyware Doctor icon in the taskbar (near the clock)
Select Shutdown
OK the prompt and wait for the progress bar to complete.
Restart your computer

Thank you for your reply. Yes what i was hoping was to be able to stop it from running directly after installation as i want to install it silently on and Unattended Window cd.

I have been able to unpack the setup file and repackit after having to make a few changes in the .ISS file but although it installed fine and did not run directly after installation, i think it froze when i ran it while it was checking status as it just did that.

I wonder if i contacted them they would send me the .ISS file.....lol
