How Do I Get SD To Ignore My Hosts File?

I have read previous posts about the problem with SD identifying problems when the www.mvps.org hosts file (or any other) is used.

How can I get SD to ignore these changes in the hosts file?

Go to OnGuard > Network Guard and uncheck the box next to the HOSTs file protection. This will, however, mean that any unauthorised changes will not be detected.
