Not surprised, I in fact e-mailed a friend yesterday that this would happend soon.
But the sticky on top: '50% off' is what made me react.
50% off what price?
Where is the price stated?
Not in the sticky, not on the front page, not even before the Beta licence code is entered!!!.
I was badly burned with the final release of SD V5, not going in that trap again.
To be honest I think PC Tools own all SD V5 subscribers a minimum of 1 FREE year as compensation of all the hazzle and mishaps they caused one year ago and some problems still seems to remain.
So A Chen and PC Tools: I think You should go back in the office and 're considder' the offer.
And as mentioned before, to me the suit is not 'ready' until the USB/memmory stick scan is taken care of. 'Shortly' is not a good answer anymore.
I expect the 'remaining' days of the beta licence will still be valied and the suit fully functional with updates!
