I have a feedback form on a website of mine (http://xyford.com) and just recently it has been getting a lot of use. From people apparently in all kinds of weird places, unless they're inputting false locations: Belize, African place, India, whatever....

Now the thing is they fill the comment field with what looks like a random list of URLs.

Here's a couple of the entries cut and pasted to show you what I mean:

about <a href= http://149.7vip.info/48.htm >leg elevation wedge
information</a> leg elevation wedge
information ( http://149.7vip.info/48.htm )

about <a href= http://150.7vip.info/16.htm >job title contains chef
top restaurant jobs in poughkeepsie</a> job title contains chef top restaurant
jobs in poughkeepsie (
http://150.7vip.info/16.htm )

There's some sex or porno related stuff but mainly it is all weird stuff like that. "Leg elevation wedge"? What the hell's that?

So it looks to me like it is some kind of bot that is doing this but that's only a guess, I've really got no solid idea of what the hell is going on.

Security question: What is going on? How can I stop it?

regards,

ab :)
