Updates and error message

Installed RC1 yesterday. Each time PC starts, attached message pops up.

Further to above: Possibly related to LSP update error, Email Guard is disabled and can't be enabled, can't receive email unless PCTIS is shut down.

Are there still no updates for this edition? Attempts to 'Smart Update' report "Update Complete" but nothing seems to have changed.

To go to the temp folder:
Start->Run, type %temp%.
Install Log filename is : Setup Log YYYY-MM-DD....txt

2. Operating System and which SP pack?

3. Did you reinstall PCTIS over the top, or completed an uninstall before reinstalling the new build?

4. Whether PCTLsp.dll exists in the following directories and what versions they are:
- %commonprogramfiles%\Pc Tools\LSP\Pctlsp.dll
- installdir\networkLayer\Pctlsp.dll

Update since first post.

Unistalled IS.
Ran Registry Mechanic to remove all PCTIS entries.
Reinstalled IS.
No difference.

Initially uninstalled Beta 3 before RC1. See previous post for details of second attempt.

Got to go but just quickly. Changed all Firewall Adapter settings from 'Internet' to 'Allow all traffic' and now I can get email with PC Tools checking message even though Email Guard still says its disabled!!

We tried to recreate this but was unable to get the same results. Could you try delete or renaming "C:\Program Files\Common Files\PC Tools\Lsp\pctlsp.dll", reboot the PC and see if it recovers?

Email client: Thunderbird 2.0.0.9, IMAP

Reset all NIC zone settings to 'Internet'.
Scheduled "C:\Program Files\Common Files\PC Tools\Lsp\pctlsp.dll" for deletion using GiPo 'MoveOnBoot',
After restart, familiar "image_14.jpg" message appeared but now I can get email again HOWEVER...
Email Guard remains greyed-out and 'Disabled' but TB still takes a long time to download headers and messages and they all contain a little message from PCTIS.
Also, some messages are corrupted and only display properly when PCTIS is 'Shut Down' (see 'pcmech' images) and on one occasion when re-starting PCTIS, an error 258 message appeared ('StartError') and the GUI froze requiring a hard reset.

Apart from all that, it's good! :D
