I hate them, but can not live without.
Unfortunately they are my biggest security risk, at least on the lap-top with PCTIS.
Had a close call today, but hopefully sorted out.
Inserted a stick, right clicked 'E' hoping to find a 'scan with...' but noting, and open in Windows explorer.
Checked out , properties to get file size, some files that a customer wanted me to burn on a CD as the stick was full.

Then pop-ups started.
Killed the lap-top and moved the stick to my Dell with McAffe: It immeadetly flagged up: Z Lob trojan!!!

Got the stick cleaned and finished the job before re-booting the lap-top.
Took quite some time to get the lap-top cleaned out, and PCTIS did not clean it all properly, but with some external help from other programs it seems clean again. Got rid of all logs, re-installed PCTIS again, second time today, and seems to be up and running again.

This I call a massive, huge, enormous or whatever hole in the PCTIS security!!!!
I have mentioned it before, and do it again. This is the main reason why PCTIS will not yet get further than Beta on my comps until this is solved satisfactory! The procedure of scanning a stick,: Open GUI, custom scan, select drive.. is far to complicated. It should be done atomatically when stick is detected!!!! PCTIS may have the front door covered and sealed by firewall etc, but the back-door seems to be wide open.
