Spyware Doctor version 5.1.0.273 unresponsive

just downloaded latest 5.1 computer has become unresponsive when surfing takes up to a minuite for a link to open or wont open at all,back to 4.1 but cookie guard is now also missing ,subscription up in a month,might be trying other sofware soon,pc tools any ideas why 5.1 wont run?,using comodo firewall and avast free antivirus.

Not really sure what the problem is. First of all make sure kernel compatibility mode is enabled (settings-> tick checkbox for enable kernel mode) since you have other security software installed. Another option is to possibly try SDv5.5 beta, check http://www.pctools.com/forum/showthread.php?t=49590. It seems this version has many improvements and performance has improved quite some bit. I don't think SD is conflicting with AVAST AV or Comodo Firewall as others have been running this combo without any problems. Give this a try and see if it helps. I think Vecchio use to have a similar setup and seemed to run ok.

I have use this combo in the past without conflictis(now running sd+av and i will buy the suite)
