Hi Anthony, I'm assuming that some version of SWD 5.5 beta will eventually become the day-to-day operational version released for customer use. My question is, will it be included as the SWD released with the IS version also cuurently being evaluated in beta?

Thanx, mcbob

Hi
I think pctis beta and the new swd beta will have the same features and scan capability. However, as the own name says, the pctis will have have all pct products in one application. And it will give more protection and less computer resources (I hope) to the user
Hope this helps

Thanx for your reply Vecchio. My current license for SWD 5.1 expires 01/2008 so I was just wondering about how best to proceed with renewal. Whether to go to SWD 5.5 or go to PC Tools IS. I am currently running the following PC Tools products:

Spyware Doctor 5.1.0.273 with AV, email guard and Site Guard; Threat Fire Pro; Firewall Plus; and, Privacy Guardian.

Any advice most appreciated.

Hi
I think the best thing to do is try the pctis. it provides(My case) lower resources
No,slowdons and it is faster than sd or sd+av
I have problems with the last beta 4 but the company promised me fix it:)
Hope this helps
Please note the pctiss wont have pg integrated

Hi McBob,

The SDv5.5 beta is the same as the SD in the PCTIS beta :) and Yes the SDv5.5 will be a final release for those with the SD standalone.
