Beta products doesn't have daily updates as official versions
The databases will be updated on each beta new release

Hmmm .. so there is little reason to run the Beta then, as you are dependant on them issuing new releases to get protection

I think it's time to go back to 5.1

Actually this raises a valid question. Which is the more secure option, V5.1 with up to date database or V5.5 with out of date database?

I've just switched back to V5.1 for this very reason which is a shame as V5.5 works very well.
