Hi,

I am using spyware doctor 4.1.0.1 , IE 7, WinXP SP2. I am having some issues after i install windows live installer and upgraded the MSN messenger to version 8.5. When i try to access the default home page in my IE, this is the link "http://www.msn.com/?wl=true". Spyware doctor said it has prevented me from accessing this harmful website. Then i added it to the 'allowed domain' manually in Spyware Doctor, after few try it has a error that said spyware doctor was unable to perform lookup in lookuptable.dll file and it shuts down the spyware doctor completely.

Another issue was when I upgraded to version 5.1, when i click on some of the existing icon, it displayed an error "windows unable to find/execute the program". When i go to the property of the icon and click on 'Find target', then i click 'OK'. Then i double click the icon again, it can execute again. This issues happen after i upgraded to version 5.1. Due to this issue, i have un-install version 5.1 and go back to version 4.1.0.1 which i am having issues above.

Another issue was within internal network, for those zip/rar document, i was unable to access cause spyware doctor has block me from opening these zip/rar file which was safe before i upgraded to version 5.1. I have then go to the property of the zip/rar file, and found that there is an additional 'Unblock' button on the property menu, is this added by Spyware doctor version 5.1 ? The similiar 'Unblock' button is also found in the spyware doctor version 4.1. It is very troublesome that have to click on 'Unblock' everytime when opening a zip/rar file.

msi:
As You seem to be rather 'infected' with the Vundo, perhaps You should wait until that part is cleared out and Your comp is malware free. It might be a connection.
After Vundo is gone I would recoment to reinstall ALL security apps from clean downloads.
The You are welcome with 'bug' problems.:)
