Version 4.1 Custom Scan - ads files

Hi All,
Could someone please inform me as to why in version 4.1, Custom Scan, "Skip ADS" is active by default? I cannot find anything on this in the help file or using a forum search.

Hi
The ADS scanning funtion slows down the scan, so you get better performance with this unchecked. Also, in the current malware world, ADS are very uncommon. There are many more, more effective, rootkit methods than using ADS.
