Uninstalled Beta 3 as pr instructions without problems and downloaded Beta 4 from 'old' e-mail link.
No problems installing and starting.
Boot-up, resource usage as before, same 'delays' as before in FF, IE7, file-opening, user-account shifting.
GUI took 1,5 minutes to open, as before.
Did a manual 'smart update' to get rid of the 'no update' - no change in GUI.
Did an intelli scan for same reason - GUI changed imediately to 'last scan less than 1 h ago'.
Closed and reopened GUI -and now last update had changed as well.
Still no notice in history file about performed up-date, was requested long time ago in the SD forum.
Not quite happy with site advisor: total blocking of 'banned sites'. Should be an option: 'allow once', and not a total reset and general permissin in the settings. Still think McAfee is a bit ahead with its greeen/grey/red notices when Googeling. Far from perfect, but a good indication.
Still no auto-scan of USB sticks, should atleast be flagged up: You want to scan or not.
Still no notice in history file about cleaning when using FF, seems to work in IE7.
So far I have not noticed any difference from Beta3, but time will show if FF stops closing down at random no and then! Rather annoying when writing e-mails, posting on board etc -it all gets lost. Solved the problem before by using another comp!
