Spyware Doctor v5.x.x has been getting very harsh reviews here and nothing but ranting, but i must say after trying out the latest version, that now it is really working well!! Congratulations, PCTools! :) And thanks!
(My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium)

The only problem is that it took 11 months to get the working version out! Now i have only 30 days left of my license.... but better late than never.

Yep, I downloaded the 4th version of Spyware Doctor from www.anti-keylogger.org a long time ago and was surprised as that was a really good product. I can imagine how good its 5th version is! I'm gonna download it right now!

I agree, i have a problem between sd and hibernation state in 272 and pctools internet security beta 3 but i have no doubts this is the best antispy program of the best security company in world

I promise that I will someday crack open my wallet (watch the moths fly out), and buy a new PC. With the controversy this past year about SD5's demands on some operating systems, here is a new definition of your newer-than-mine PCs and Operating Systems:

"Life-support systems for SD5." :D :D :D

I will join you someday. (In the meantime it's 4.1 for me.) :D

I've been doggedly hanging on to v4, too, nervously hanging around the edge of the pool, too scared to take the plunge yet really wanting to! I'm waiting for the next release, then I'll go for it.

Perhaps not, if you run Windows 2000. It's SD4.x or nothing for me since SD5 in any form will not run (GUI will not close properly and Kernel Compatibility gives my incarnation of the OS a pain). I've become tired of attempting to see if each new release of SD5 works.

PC Tools, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease maintain availability of SD4.x.

I'm sure that PC Tools will maintain the 4 versions for a while...
I didn't think that people still used Windows 2000:D

You would be more surprized if You knew how many!!!
Preferred by a lot of back-packers and travellers due to low battery-consumption compared to same machine with XP! It close to double battery run time depending of how much add-ons. I have installed about 20 last year on a seperate partiton for travelling people haveing battery capacity problems. Use it on my nav computer in my boat too for the same reason.

Interesting.
Battery consumption has never been a concern of mine.
It is nice to know that if it was, I could just use a really old operating system to solve my problems.:D
