IE 7 drop down menu buttons Will not open

When attemting to choose options, ie. drop down options for date or month etc, drop down options will not display. Can anyone suggest a solution?

Does expand e.g. the Forum Jump drop-down menu (at down right corner of this page)?

If I want to go to the forum jump button, it will not open

Try next: click the Internet Explorer text beneath bold Forum Jump words; if the drop-down menu does not expand, hold the Alt key and press either down-arrow key or up-arrow key.
Does it expand now? If not, then click this little triangle symbol in between the menu and Go button.
In my best knowledge, above are all ways to expand a drop-down menu...
