4.1 site guard and "silent" crash problems

It is now some months that I am experiencing the same problems of other SD 4.1 users: Site Guard blocking legal pages (Google, about:blank, you name it...), and SD crashing silently until you start another browser instance and you discover that SD was not protecting anymore the system.

We were told since then that the developers were working on the above problems. Fine, but WHEN it is expected to have the solutions??? I think the customer's patience has a limit, and that PC Tools is abusing of it. :mad:

For the record: running SD 4.1.0.1, db version 3.08460

Let's see if we can have finally what we paid for UPFRONT...

I agree, I posted on this a number of times and was also told its being worked on. I fear this is at the some level as develping pink striped pigs with the ablity to fly backwards!

This describes my problems as well and I moved from Version 5 at PC Tools suggestion because my PC would not run at any speed. I am having valid pages blocked for no reason and system hangups that dissapear when I turn of PC Doctor. I paid good money for this software and I now feel ripped off. I do not want the bells and whistles (which do not ring and do not blow) they have added.All I wanted was a spyware remover than scanned when I asked it to.. Am I wrong at this point to expect the problems to be resolved or do I just move on and find a piece of software that just does what I want it to
