Does update work?

Getting a bit confused about up-dates.
As Beta 2 does not want to work I'm still in Beta 1.
The GUI tells me up-dated, but that is the question.
Manual-smart-update says it is updated, but?
The Anti Spyware DB is 5.08220, SD V5 DB is 5.08440 according to sticky?????
The AV says V 4.4.2, DB 10.1.1, Sign 195416

A bit difficult to do a proper 'job' in the Beta testing if we does not get any info of what this should be.
A sticky on top would be great.

Is the Beta 2 stable enough to retry without haveing to disable guards?

Acording to achen words,yes the updates working properlly but the GUI is not showing this info

Just an update on this. We do not release any Smart Updates with the Beta versions. Each beta release will have an updated database version. We have currently released the PCTIS beta 3. I will update the sticky with what has been fixed shortly :)

What about A-S and A-V updates:confused:

Once a week is not enough in this age of the deluge of daily infections from the bad guys.

Most all other A-V vendors are doing daily, and even hourly updates to the definations database.

When it is released there will be daily updates. It's just through the BETA period that it is only weekly.
