All of a sudden no more net connection.
'Firefox cannot find server'.
Same in IE7.
This happened in the middle of surfing without any warning.
Disabled PCTIS - and had no problem. (rignt click sys.tray)
Re-enabled PCTIS and was up and running again.
No settings changed, it just blocked off everything.
At least I managed to shut down Beta1 contrary to Beta2.

Hi Reodor,
1. Please turn off Site Guard and see if this occurs?
2. If this problem still occurs even if Site Guard has been disabled, then please follow step "3".
3. Turn on TDI logs by double clicking on TDIExtendedLogs.reg
4. Go to Firewall settings->Settings->General tab and un-tick ‘prompt to confirm changing…’ and press Apply
5. Go to Firewall settings->Settings->General tab and tick ‘prompt to confirm changing…’ and click on Apply (step 4/5 is a trick we use to turn on driver logs without changing the application behaviour)
6. Reproduce the problem and send us the file FirewallWrapper.txt from the NetworkLayer directory of IS installation directory (normally c:\Program Files\PC Tools Internet Security\NetworkLayer
7. To reduce the log level of TDI driver double click on TurnOffTDIExtendedLogs.reg and perform steps ‘4’ and ‘5’ again.

Have not had any more incidents during week-end and is still running B1.
Has Beta 2 been 'corrected'?

The Internet connection issue has been resolved with PCTIS beta 3 :)

A little more info would be nice.
What OS? What SP?
What other PC protection are you running? Antivirus, antispyware, firewall.
Why have you not upgraded to IE8?
