User account switching.

Might concidder to switch my to Dells to the Beta testing, but a bit concerned about the user account shifting.

A short test give account shifting from Admin to Guest :PCTIS = 3 min, McAfee 1 minute.
The McAfee has auto-scanning of memmory sticks/disks - is the same feuture and security in PCTIS?

Currently the IS can scan other USB removable drives, but not automatically (Custom Scan). I'll add this option as a feature request :)

What about 'optical' discs. I live in a country where 'licenced' discs are as common as icebergs in Sahara.
A lot of people comes in and wants to check the latest catch at the local market before bringing it home and McAfee have in fact been a 'lifesaver' when it comes to avoid trouble. Both for memory and optical discs.
The 'problem' with memmory sticks is they are travelling from internet cafe to internet cafe around the world and I have almost a 90% malware hit on 'new' sticks comming in. Even memmory cards from cameras that people want to 'empty' into Photobucket, Flickr etc are infected, probably of same reason.

We tried re-creating this inhouse but was unable to reproduce this. Is there any other security apps besides McAfee installed on you're PC? Firewall? so running PCTIS on its own takes 3min to switch accounts and McAfee on its own takes 1min? is this correct? Also, is this with PCTIS beta 3?

This was an 'old' one, but nice to see You are looking into it.
It was all done on Beta 1, on two different machines with rather similar set-up and resources.
One with clean PCTIS (my lap-top), one desktop with clean Mcafee (Dell-version).
Just did another test using Beta 3 and the results are rather similar. Main problem is first switch fro admin to guest, this time about 2,5 min. Did a couple of swithing back and forth and that went in roughly 40 -50 sec providing I just switched and did not log off each account before switching. One severe problem, the 4th time I went from guest to admin, black screen for about 1,5 minutes before it came back!
If I log off before switching I might as well re-boot when it comes to time.
