This seems to be the only way to shut down the application.
Trying to get a better idea bout resource-usage I tried to shut down from Sys Tray icon.
After some time following error message occured:
Error occurered trying to disable internet security center. Wait operation timed out. Error code 258.

Killing in task-manager impossible, a few more 'flags' 'disable' or debug' where i pressed 'disable'.

CPU running constantly at 100%
PF usage going from about 450 down to 230, then up - then down-up-........
Sdloader.exe pullung 70-80% of CPU
csrss.exe pulling 20-30%CPU

No other option than to 'Shoot & Kill' !

Hi
I've tried ending processes with Taskmanager and it just doesn't work. Not entirely sure why, or what exactly is happening!

I noticed Your post. Shutting down in task-manager quite often creates problems particularly if multiple exe's are involved in the same program. Stopping one and You have system crash. Shutting down with the programs own 'shut down' command should work! In this case it seems to consume even more system resources than at start-up, and I passed my limmit. Unacceptable.

When I rebooted and checked the GUI I was even informed that the IS was shut down and got the message: Do You want to restart?
There was no indication in/on the sy-tray icon that IS was not active and protecting and this is even something we demanded in the SD forum. The Sys tray icon should be giving a warning if You are not protected.
