I installed PCTIS. Had a problem with the smart update at first. It got hung up. I could not end the task because it said it was locked by the system. I finally did a restart which took awhile but completed. Tried smart update again and it was o.k.
Also had a couple of apps where the connection was blocked. I granted full permission to those and they are o.k.
I am most interested in seeing how the general speed of my PC is effected. Some say it's slow others don't have a problem. We'll see.
