Hi,

I'm running Spam Monitor v3.0.0.4 on a Windows XP Home (SP2) machine, using the Mozilla Thunderbird email client (v2.0.0.6).

Upon initial configuration of Spam Monitor, the Configuration Wizard detected Thunderbird and configured the settings as such.

However, when I go to try and get (fetch) my emails I can see Thunderbird trying to connect to, "127.0.0.1" to retrieve the emails. Then after about a minute it'll time out (via Thunderbird timeout error). Also, I get a pop-up from Spam Monitor saying, "Error Sending Data to Client - Connection Reset."

I looked at the settings for Spam Monitor and made sure the ACCESS CONTROL SETTINGS had the IP addresses of my POP3 servers. As well as made sure LISTEN PORT SETTINGS had the port #'s of the POP3 servers I access.

However, one thing to note. I don't use traditional POP3 to retrieve my emails. I use POP3s (Secure) instead, which listens on port # 995. I have configured Spam Monitor to listen for emails on that port via the LISTEN PORT SETTINGS. Does this matter? Will this keep Spam Monitor from doing its job??

Thanks in advance...

Hi Cj,

Could you post a screenshot of your server settings?
