PC Tools Problem

I recently minstalled the security suite, but ran into a problem, I uninstalled all the other pc tools products but never restarted my computer. After I installed PC Tools Security Suite I restarted the computer and everything restarted normally, then when the suite restarted it said that some of the firewall files had been corrupted and are now being restored to their origninal settings, it seemed to be working well, so I turned off the computer, planning to use it alter that night, when i turned it on again, it never came on, it would hjange before loading the blue welcome secreen, after trying to start it a few times, i finally had to go into safe mode and attempt a system restore, I reintstalled SD + AV and PCTFW and everything now works fine. I think the suite works great, but i am wondering what could have caused this, any suggestions.

Is it possible for the suite to uninstall all other pctools products and then restart the computer automaticly before installing the suite. Afain great job on the suite thorugh!

This is a problem with the installer, it doesn't detect the other software. You should always reboot after installing/uninstalling security software as they often integrate quite deeply with the system.
Try uninstalling SD+AV and the firewall and then restart (I would suggest restarting inbetween each uninstall, but that isn't entirely necessary) and then install PCTIS and see if the problem re-occurs.
