Hi

I have tried it and its shows only one !!
But I am sure that my server is running with 2 processors even I can see
them when I restart the server ..

I am wondering if it needs different ver. Of windows2000 adv that works
on dual processors?

Thanx

If you are upgrading from a single processor to a multi processor system, then you have to ensure that you have the multiprocessor HAL. The Microsoft Q article at the following link provides the details of how to manually make the changes.

Compaq has a support forum per product and the one listed below contains a discussion on multiprocessor support in W2K for the Proliant 1600. Hope it helps.
