1. Very heavily based on SD, obvious that it was designed using an antispyware app as a base. As a result, launching custom scans is a tedious task (no way to quickly scan specific files/folders); no context menu option, selecting Custom Scan option from UI forces you to select scanners to be used and scan other things you do not want to scan as well.

2. Firewall module does not include Expert Mode from PCTFW... intentional?

3. System tray icon does not alert when protection is partially disabled (i.e. turn off the firewall, system tray icon doesn't show any changes to reflect this).

4. UI seems to be cobbled together from various components and non-standard. E.g. buttons in the Anti-Malware options will follow the visual style selected, buttons in the Firewall options appear to be Luna irregardless of visual style.

1. Go to Start Scan-> Custom Scan and set the directories to scan. This will be remembered.
2. Expert mode is not supported in the IS.
3 & 4. We are continually reviewing the GUI and we appreciate the feedback you have provided in this regards.

The Custom Scan forces you to select the scanners to use as well. It doesn't seem to be possible to scan ONLY the files/folders you select, WITHOUT opting to scan anything else; the hosts file, startup entries, running processes etc etc etc.

At least, that's how I seem to interpret it...

it should just scan files and folders if u only select File Scanner, excluding other scanners.. after all, that is the only scanner u need for the task you are after.
