I'm posting is question in hopes that someone can give me the guide to fix this...basically, I want to remove all history trails from webpages...ie, if you go to AOL's webpage and to log in you have to put your screen name and password...when you first intially type in that field..whatever is typed in will be saved and the next time you visit that site..just by typing in the first letter..the drop menu appears and you see the word you typed in....now, my question is..how do you remove that??? so that it clears the history?? I've tried everything I could think of....please help...I'm using Windows 2000 Professional....thanks...

Basically all you need to do is delete cookies, In internet explorer go to tools, internet options, where it says temporery internet options, click on veiw files, then press Ctrl A to hilight everthing, then press delete.

I dont remember of the top of my head how to disable cookies, but most websites that you sign into will ask if they should save your password, do not check that.
