I have started using "Safari Browser by Apple for windows" and it's in the beta form right now, I must say it's faster than any browser I have tried so far from Firefox/Opera/World Browser etc.....

Anyway my question is to anyone else out there who is using this browser :

"I know privacy guardian doesn't support clearing the history, but what I wanted to ask is I know there are custom settings to delete specific files within Privacy Guardian to delete just about anything, I am trying to auto delete the history file from the browser and just can't seem to track it down in the directory for Safari", I know you can delete history manually in the safari browser but it becomes a pain if you don't do it for a few days and the program has no option that I know of to autodelete the history,if anybody knows where I will find this file in the Safari directory please let me know and please include the name of the files also or directory. This is one problem I really don't like about Safari browser for Windows Vista because it keeps multiple history files and if I can find and delete the correct directory or file then I wont have a lot of my hard drive space being made useless by old files.

Also I wanted to ask if there is a way to have Privacy Guardian schedule an auto scan and clean and then close the program? I know you can have it delete the files every so many minutes "Which I must say I haven't explored that option more" but I would like to have it scheduled at a certain time daily and wanted to know if that was possible?

With Safari for Windows Xp/Vista there is a selection you can make on the browser from the toolbar edit/private browsing that will make the browser not save much of anything. In the preferences settings though the setting for delete history is shown but non-functional when it comes to automatically deleting history files.

I'm still looking for that history file name to delete with privacy guardians personal settings, I know you can delete it anyway manually but I like for things to be set to auto. This is a great browser that's still in beta form maybe the final release they will have that feature to delete the history files automatically available. The only reason I want to delete the history auto is because it's a pain to keep doing again and again and I hate old useless files like that on my computer. For example I had like 110 entries to my homepage in the history alone. I'm still looking.....

The developers are currently working on this. No timeframe has been provided at this stage, but I will provide an update when I hear something :)
