Scheduled scan wont run ,re (Threatfire)

Have now uninstalled,cant be bothered messing about,Had similar probs with Spyware Doctor,5.0, When i switched over to windows vista premium home edition, Wasted money on spyware Doctor subscription,
Couldnt get updates to download,console kept freezing etc,
Cant even download vista ready spyware doctor as there is some Runtime
Error Warning,Apparently they know about it ,as yet no solution,Waste of space,Best left alone.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For Threatfire scheduled scans, it looks like that are looking into this from your other thread. I haven't had any problems with running a scheduled scan either.

For SD, which version of Windows are you using? SD is only compatible with the 32 bit Vista and XP. For the update issue, most likely that another security app is blocking the updates, possibly a Firewall or another AntiVirus program. What other apps have you got installed? You can try the kernel compatibility mode to see if this helps. The runtime error looks like its still being worked on.

You can also install SDv4.1 if you are unable to run SDv5.

... also are you running a 64 bit version on Windows? Currently SD is not compatible with 64 bit Version of Vista.
