Click File Folder & Control panel opens?

i ve gotta very serious prob. i was using one software for last 3 months for locking folders with password. yesterday when i locked my imp folder, instead of locking its icon changed and now when i double click on it, it opens control panel. i ve uninstalled that software but situation is same. interestingly when i move that folder into another drive, it shows all files moving in dialogue box. plz help me out

we're sorry to hear of the problems you are experiencing.

It seems that something could have gone wrong with the encryption/packing process of the 'folder lock' application.

Unfortunately File Recover is not able to assist in this kind of situation.
