Over the last couple of days Cyberhawk pops up a message which informs me it needs to shut down.I have to reboot to get things back to normal. Each time before this occurrence the Cyberhawk tray icon has a red X when my computer starts first thing.Running XP Pro,ZoneAlarm free,AVG anti-virus free, spyware blaster,Spybot (Not Teatimer),Windows Defender,Opera browser,I.E.7 browser.Been using Cyberhawk for a couple of months, first time this has happened.Any help appreciated.

Hi
Is there anything in particular you are doing at the time it crashes?

No, but as I posted when my computer starts up first thing in the morning,if Cyberhawk has that red X,I then know that soon that popup message will appear.

I need to understand a little better your problem.
Windows must be popping the message that Cyberhawk needs to shut down, as we don't have an alert window like this.
*The red X that you see upon start up is normal, since Cyberhawk's Service needs to start up. Until that is complete then the red X is in place.
*Or Cyberhawk has been suspended, in which case the red X.
*Sometimes if you right click on the tray icon and choose "Suspend", and then repeat this, the red X will go away. This is a minor bug.
You said that you have been using Cyberhawk for a while. Have you had the same security products installed the whole time as well?
Thanks

The message is in the "Cyberhawk box" not a windows box, although it does ask if I wish to send the error report to Microsoft. The message reads something like "Cyberhawk has encountered a problem and needs to shut down" From that point on Cyberhawk is frozen, unable to close it,open it,nothing.I reboot and when it returns all is well again. The reference to the red X,I am aware that when Cyberhawk starts up the red X is visible, the difference is when I know I am going to have a problem is that the red X does not go away.I can wait for up to ten minutes or so before the message ,we have a problem arrives and then I need to reboot. It has happened three times in seven days.If when the computer starts the red X is not there I don't have a problem,if when I start up the red X stays on then I know I am going to have the problem.Security as before,no change.Hope this helps.

Hi,
Appears no luck in sorting out the problem I am experiencing with Cyberhawk ? Shame I was getting to like it.Gone back to WinPatrol for the time being anyway.
