We are having difficulty with a machine of ours. With Internet Explorer you must type in "www" preceeded before the actual website name. Does anybody know a fix to this problem. As we all know we should be able to type in the web address without the "www", IE and other browsers should automatically fill this in when .
Thanks, PEBCAK!

there is a good way to work around this problem.
Namely, and this isn't a solution but should be treated as a quick fix. When you type a web address such as www.pctools.com into the address bar simply type pctools and then press CTRL and the return key together and the browser will fill in the http://www. and the .com portion of the address.
